Dans le cadre du « parrainage » de jeunes artistes par les membres de la compagnie du Centre chorégraphique national de Tours dirigé par Bernardo Montet, une collaboration a débuté avec l’association Donko Seko créée à Bamako par Kettly Noël.

As part of a "sponsorship" of young artists by the members of the CNC de Tours company, under the direction of Bernardo Montet, a partnership was initiated with the Association Donko Seko created by Kettly Noël in Bamako.

« Quand le mouvement est la seule solution pour s'en sortir, la danse s'impose contre l’inertie qui mène à la mort.» La danse d’Aly Karembé, en formation depuis 2003 à L’Espace* à Bamako, se joue là, dans cette nécessité sans fin.Nous rappelant que si la collectivité se reconnaît dans un rythme, dans une organisation dynamique de mouvements, si elle y éprouve son identité, sa structure imaginaire, le danseur, lui, est un de ces « virtuoses de la vie à contre-rythme » : explorateur d'espaces sans repères, chaman d'un temps hors des durées sociales. Conçu sous la direction artistique de Marc Veh**, Nan Dio est le voyage incertain d’un jeune chorégraphe dans la profondeur du geste de création, en quête d’un sens. Aiguisant son écoute du corps, Aly Karembé découvre qu’il y a dans ce volume, dans cette taille, dans cette morphologie – à nuls autres pareils – tout un monde avec lequel avancer.

"When movement is the only way out, dance triumphs over the inertia which leads to death." This never-ending necessity to move can be seen in the dance of Aly Karembé, performing since 2003 at L'Espace* in Bamako. A reminder that if the community is well represented by a rhythm, by a dynamic organisation of movements, if it feels its identity there, its imaginary structure, then the dancer is one of these "virtuosos of life in counter-rhythm": an explorer of uncharted spaces, a shaman of time without socially dictated limits. Conceived under the artistic direction of Marc Veh**, Nan Dio is the uncertain journey of a young choreographer into the depths of the creative act, searching for meaning. Sharpening his observance of the body, Aly Karembé discovers that in this volume, in this form, in this morphology – unlike any other – there is a whole world with which to progress.
