Du Lever du soleil à Parcours en passant par La Désolation, Prince Dethmer Nzaba précise toujours plus les enjeux de sa recherche en renouvelant à chaque fois les modalités de son écriture chorégraphique. Porté par un sens aigu de l’espace, chorégraphié au plus près du corps et du sol, singulièrement attentif à ce qui menace constamment de figer le mouvement (dogmatisme, théories, aplanissement), Parcours est une interrogation limpide du corps sur ses formes multiples, la richesse de son langage, sa capacité à déclencher des ouvertures d’imaginaires et des cheminements intérieurs propres à chacun.
Déclinant cette force d’effraction de la danse, Prince Dethmer Nzaba fait de son Parcours l’affirmation d’un engagement personnel face à la dérive du monde actuel, soit le refus de se laisser enfermer dans la violence universelle. Un état de conscience doux mais alerte qu’il donne en partage.

From “Lever du soleilé” (Sunrise) to “Parcours”, by way of “La Désolation” (Devastation), Prince Dethmer Nzaba has continually sharpened the precision of his research aims by renewing the methods of his choreographic writing every time. Marked by a sharpened sense of space, choreographed close to the body and the ground, uniquely attentive to what constantly threatens to freeze the movement (dogmatism, theories, levelling), “Parcours” is a crystal clear interrogation of the body, its multiple forms, the wealth of its language, its capacity to activate imagination and internal progress for everybody.
Exploring this break-and-enter force, Prince Dethmer Nzaba makes his “Parcours” a personal commitment in the face of the world's current abuses, a refusal to be locked into universal violence. He shares this gentle but alert state of consciousness with the audience.
